PRO's report for September - October 2002

Greetings members !

On September 04 we held our next Quiz and information Evening in Duggans Irish pub in Wuerzburg. We had 30 people present. Thanks to Duggans for the concert tickets, CDs and thanks to Guinness for the very nice T-shirts they sent us for spot prizes!

Congratulations to Kalle on his marriage..it's all downhill from now on!

Our next trip is the 7th and final round of the European league taking place in the Hague on the weekend 11-13 October- the Brendan Moloney memorial tournament. This time we have a much stronger representation from the 'Burg.members present will be:

Ronan Slattery, Noel Loughnane ( both from Beatha Gort, Co Galway and also flying over for the weekend)

In the Hague we'll again be joining up with Frankfurt and taking on teams from Munich, The Hague, rest of Holland selecton, Paris, Luxembourg, Brussels, AIB team from Dublin and a team from Brendan Moloneys club in Mayo plus more.After the tournament we'll be enjoying the after match entertainment provided by the HAgue GAA club.

At the moment we're selling cool customized cotten Wurzburg St Kilians T-shirts complete with crest and website address on the front at a cost of 15 Euro if anybody is interested in buying one please contact us with your size.

On Saturday 05.10.02 I was on Ronan Quirkes Sportsshow on Tipp FM discussing the growth of European GAA, our club and our future plans. On Monday 07.10.02 Eoghan was on Clare FM with Cormac Mac Connail doing the same!
